Larisa holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Arizona State University. Her research and work encompasses international and comparative education; language, gender and education; and education policy development. She has 10+ years of experience in qualitative and mixed-methods social science research on education, gender and language; grant writing and reporting; teacher training; and curriculum development. Recent gender projects include a research study that explores the impacts of international development and education on gender identity in Maasai communities in Kenya.
