Fernanda Bianchi

Dr. Fernanda Bianchi is the Director of Programs and Development at the Global Women’s Institute (GWI) at the George Washington University (GW). GWI is a university-wide initiative advancing gender equality through research, education, and civic engagement. Dr. Bianchi is responsible for the development and oversight of all programmatic initiatives of GWI and for securing a diversified funding portfolio. She is the Project Manager for the Malala Project and has been responsible for coordinating all activities among GWI, GW faculty, the publisher and the Malala Fund.  She has been highly involved in the editing of the themes, development of the on-line resource guide and website, and in the establishment and maintenance of relationships with outside partners.
